Step 2:

400 hours

Study for Diploma in Counselling: The COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills will enable you to apply for a diploma where you will work towards becoming a qualified counsellor. Your course should be at least one year full-time or two years' part-time classroom-based tuition. It should also include integral, supervised placements of at least 100 hours.

Step 3:

350 hours

Start Practicing and Progress Toward Accreditation: After earning your Diploma, you can apply for COSCA Practitioner Membership (COSCAPM) with 150 hours of additional supervised practice. This allows you to begin practicing while working towards full accreditation, which requires an additional 200 hours of supervised practice.
